A new organization of small and midsize business solution providers have announced a new web-based membership portal in an attempt to grow in 2007.  Solution providers leading the Mobilize SMB Private Services Network (MSPSN) plan to increase the number of members in the coming year.

MSPSN offers a structured environment for SMB solution providers to communicate, collaborate and also get training and guidance in being managed services providers.  This organization also gives solution providers the ability to find ideal tools for running their businesses.  One of the group’s founding members and CEO of Nebraska-based company Mobitech Amy Luby stated the group’s intention to offer training, sales support, marketing support, group discounts, fulfillment services and a community that will encourage businesses to grow.

The organization for solution providers has a membership fee and already has collected 179 solution providers.  When companies join the organization they get access to forums that have other members, monthly web-based seminars hosted by SMB industry experts along with many other resources.

The goal of the MSPSN program is to increase the number of solution providers that can network together and bring together people with common bonds that want to grow their businesses and hone skills.  This network will be vital to keeping companies competitive within their respective industries.

Groups like the MSPSN for solution providers strive to connect the SMB channel, which has often been criticized as being too disjointed.
